Pain Management

Saving people’s lives and educating our colleagues on a deep understanding of the epidemic of narcotics, drug addiction, recognition and prevention of this national issue is our goal. Therefore, by popular demand, we are repeating this course one last time before the renewal period ends. This course provides a look at how the epidemic began and how dental professionals can help to reduce this deadly issue in our society. We have modified and added an extra section on alternative treatment for certain serious medical conditions to include the use of Marijuana as well. An interesting look at CBD, what seems to be an alternative to narcotics. The state of Pennsylvania requires biennial training in pain management, drug addiction, and the practice of prescribing opioids which we will discuss in this course.
